S3 | E11 | Kyle Nolan, Curry College
With the cost of higher education continuing to rise and the American workforce continually evolving, some students and their families may be skeptical about the value of a degree. A June 2023 Gallup Poll found that only 36% of respondents had “a great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in higher education, down from 48% in 2018 and 57% in 2015. Growing skepticism of higher education combined with an often overwhelming social media and technological landscape can make it challenging for college admissions and marketing professionals to cut through the noise and reach prospective students. In this episode, we sit down with Kyle Nolan, Director of Admission Marketing at Curry College, to discuss the role of admissions marketing in 2024. In this episode we discuss:
How admissions marketing has evolved over the last 5-10 years to build a stronger connection with prospective students
The power of combining data with storytelling as a means to providing students with an individualized marketing experience
How colleges and universities can remain adaptable in a constantly changing technological and higher education landscape
